Family Beach Vacation

This was our first family vacation with just me, Richie, and Rylee. Richie got us a great deal on a condo so we loaded up and headed to PCB for a week!!! The trip was just perfect. We had the best time. We went in April and the weather was just perfect. Not to hot and not to cool. You could actually sit out the beach and not feel like you were melting. Rylee absolutly loved the sand. We were a little afraid of how she would react to the sand but she LOVED it. She also loved the pool which was no surprise. She loves to be in the water. This was the first time Richie and I have been to PCB in years. Oh my how it has changed. Pier Park is a great additon to PCB. They have lots of good shops and lots of good places to eat. Anyone who knows my husband he loves to eat so we hit all the hot spots while we were there. I hope this becomes a Robertson Family Tradition to go to the beach every summer. I look forward to next year!!!

First Happy Meal Toy

On the way to the beach we stopped off to grab a bite to eat and got Rylee her first Happy Meal. She was so excited about her toy!!!

Rylee and her friend Briley

Rylee had a great 1st birthday party. She really enjoyed all the attention. The theme for the party was cupcakes. As you can see we had lots of cupcakes put together to look like a really big cupcake for the cake and Rylee had her own giant cupcake for her "smash" cake. She was not so sure about getting messy but she loved the cake. She got so many presants and loved playing with every one of them. She is one spoiled rotten little girl!!

1 year check-up

So, We went for our one year check up as you can see. We are getting big these days. Still no hair though. Not sure if we will ever have hair but she is just as pretty without it so we don't care. The Dr. said she was right on schedule with her skills. She weighed in at 19 lbs 12 oz which was in the 30th% and she was 29 1/2 inches long which was in the 75th%. Looks like we may have a tall girl on our hand. That would be great!! She had to get 4 shots at this visit and that was not plesant at all. Although she did great with them. She only cried until I picked her up. She was a little fussy the rest of the day after the shots but that was to be expected. All in all it was a great visit!!

Happy 1st Birthday Rylee!!!

This was just a quick picture I took on her actual birthday. Party pictures to come....

love nap time with Pop!!!

Rylee got tubes

Well after dealing with ear infections for forever it seemed we finally took Rylee in to get tubes. I work for an ENT doctor so he did the procedure. I am so thankful to work with such great doctors. They took such good care of my precious little baby. Rylee did great with the procedure. She was really fussy after in the recovery room but by the time we made it home she was starting to get back to her normal self again. So far since the tubes in February we have only had one double ear infection (knock on wood) praise the lord. The tubes have been a miracle!!!

We're back....

Wow it has been forever since I have blogged last. We are still alive. A lot has gone on since my last post. Little Miss Rylee is now 15 months old...WOW.. time is flying by. Rylee is now walking and into everything. She has the funniest personality. We are having so much fun with her. She is still not talking but I am afraid when she does start to talk we wont be able to keep her quite. She is now going to daycare which is a change for us. Richie's sister (Kim) kept her for the first year of her life. We are so thankful for that and hope she is ready for round 2 one day. Rylee really loves the day care. She goes to a ladies house where she has about 15 other kids there that she keeps along with a few helpers. There are about 6 kids Rylee's age. She is learing a lot while there. So, anyways I am going to try and catch you up with the pictures of our little princess. Hopefully it won't take me long to get caught up but I am 3 months behind so bare with me!!!
