Relay 4 Life
This was the booth that my mom was working at. This booth was done by my parents church.
Blu made the trip home this time. He got to go to the relay also.

This past weekend we went home for Mother's Day and the Relay for Life was on Friday night. We made it home to go to that. This was Rylee's first Relay. Of course she dosent even know she was there because she was ASLEEP. She loves to sleep when it is not necessary...hahah

4 week check-up
Well. We went for our 1 month check up on May 5, 2010. I thought I was going to have to tackle this adventure on my own but my car had other plans for me. It decided that it wanted to break down AGAIN....and the way the firt visit went I was a little nervous about going by myself. So since my car was in the shop good ole Michelle came to the resque and took us to the doctor. So on the the visit details. So I get called back in the room and me and Rylee go back. Michelle and Jenna stayed in the waiting room. I was like oh I will be fine Rylee is going to do great this go around. So they put us in a room and tell me to undress her down to he diaper so we can weigh her. So I undress her and of course she has a dirty diaper so I had to change her. Well of course she was already mad at me because I had taken off her clothes and she decides that she is going to pee everywhere. I mean everywhere. It was all over the table....I have never seen her pee this much. I guess she was trying to show out since we were at the doctor. So I get her a new diaper on and get the table cleaned up and off we go to get weighed. I know the nurse was wondering what in the world was taking so long but oh well. We managed to get our stats and Rylee weighed in at 9 lbs. 14 1/2 oz which was in the 75% and she was 21 3/4 inches long which was also in the 75%. We had to get one shot this time and she did not care for that at all but she was all better once I picked her up. Dr. Blair said she is doing perfect and we dont have to go back until June 1, 2010. I dread that visit because she has to get lots of shots on this visit. Hopefully it won't be to bad.

We met my mom for Japanese and little miss priss slept through the entire experience. She didn't even know that she had been to eat Japanese.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!
Richie's Birthday was April 22nd. We went to my parents house to celebrate. We had a great time. Richie turned the big 34. He sure is getting old!!!

2 week check-up

On the way to our first doctors visit
Rylee went for her 2 week check-up on April 22nd. She weighed 8lbs 10 1/2 oz. That was almost a gain of 1 pound since she left the hospital. She weighed 7lbs and 15oz when she left the hospital. She was in the 50% for her weight. She is now 21 inches long which is in the 75%. She was 19 3/4 when she left the hospital. Her head circumference was 14 1/2 inches which is in the 75%. She sure is a growing girl. This first doctors visit was pretty interesting. We got there and to weigh her we had to strip her down to her diaper. Well of course she had a dirty diaper so I had to take care of that. While we were changing her diaper she got so made and we went through 2 diapers while changing the orginal dirty diaper. So we go to get weighed...this time it was a success. So after we saw the doctor we had to go and get some blood work done. They had to prick her little heal. this was not a pretty sight. She was furious.....She was screaming bloody murder and of course we dirtied another diaper. So that was 3 diapers in the course of 1 doctors visit. Hopefully her next visit will go alot smoother. Thank goodness I had my mom with me at this visit. I will be going solo to the next visit so we will see how that goes. We go back on May 5th for her 1 month check-up.
