33 and 35 week Doctors visit

Ok. So I am a little behind. I went for my 33 week check up on Feb 23, 2010. Nothing really happened that was excititng. I didn't gain any weight which was great. I figured that I would get in trouble for not gaining anything but nothing was said about my weight. The heart beat was in the 140's so everything with baby is going good. I was measuring right on schedule. So I was to return in 2 weeks for my 35 week recheck. I went for that visit the other day which was March 9, 2010. This time I gained one pound. I was really worried now that something was going on as to why I have not gained any weight. I asked the doctor and she said that I would be fine as long as the baby was growing and moving. She measured me and baby is growing just like it is supposed to and she is moving around ALL the time. This visit was my last 2 week appointment and I am not starting my 1 week appointments. I go back on March 17, 2010 and they will start checking me...not sure I am looking forward to those visit. I did ask the doctor if she thought that the baby was already head down and she said she could guess but it is best to wait until they examine you so next week they will be able to tell me more as to if she is head down or not. Lets just hope she is. I really don't want to have to have a C-Section. The babies heartbeat was 142 this time and she is measuring right at 35 weeks so all is good. I will update again next week!!! It sure is getting close I can't wait to meet little Ms. Rylee Kay!!

Grandmother Shower

My mom was given a "Grandmother Shower" and it was the neatest thing. Everyone that brought a gift was for my mom to have at her house when we bring the baby to visit her. She got lots of good stuff and we should be set to go and visit without having to take anything with us which is GREAT!!

31week doctor visit

I went for my 31week check up last week. I only gained 1 pound in 2 weeks. I was sooooo excited...I am now up to 21 pounds total. Again, nothing much happened at this visit. I am measuring 1 week ahead of schedule. The babies heart beat was in the 150's. I have 2 more 2 week check ups and then I will be starting my 1 week check ups. This is going by really fast. It will be here before I know it. We almost have the nursery ready so as soon as we have that finished I will post pictures. That is about all that happened at this visit. Not very exciting.

29 Week Doctor Visit

Well. I am a little behind on posting for my past doctors visit. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago for my 29 week check up. The doctor said everything is still going good. I am still measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule so we might be having this little one early but who knows she might come 2 weeks late. Lets just hope that dosen't happen. I gained another 4 pounds so I am up to a total of 20 pounds. Richie has been sick with a sinus infection and I caught it from him. Mine didn't turn into the full infection but I just had a cold and it was not fun. I am finally getting over that. Nothing else exciting happened at the doctor for this visit. I actually go tomorrow for my 31 week visit so I will post an update soon.

Audrey got a hair cut!

Miss Audrey got all her hair cut off. Her hair was a mess so she got to go and spend the day at the doggie spa...She absolutley loved it. She looks so pretty now. I was worried what she would look like without long hair but she looks great. She acts like she feels great!!

27 week doctor appointment

So...I went for my 27 week doctors appointment. I had to do the 1 hour glucose test and see the doctor. So I go in and go back to the lab. I was sooo dreading drinking that drink for the glucose test. I am not very good at drinking stuff that is not good. So anyways they call me back there to drink my drink. Lucky for me the bottle said it was Fruit Punch flavor. I love fruit punch. This actually tasted good except that it was soooo SUPER sweet that it was hard to get down. I went to see the doctor while I was waiting on my hour to be up. I gained another 4 pounds so I am up to 16 pounds total. The doctor said the heartbeat was good....it was in the 130's. I am measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule but she said that could all change the next time I see her so we are leaving my due date as is for now. I am now going to start seeing her every 2 weeks now. This is really flying by. OK, back to the glucose test. I went for my results and what do you know. I FAILED...boooo. I was so upset. I really didnt want to go back and do the 3 hour test but I had to. I went back and couple of days later and took the 3 hour test. This time I had to drink an entire bottle of the sugar drink instead of half. This was not to easy. They tested my blood sugar fasting and it was good. I drank the drink and waited 1 hour to test my sugar again. YAY I passed the first part of the test. Waited 1 more hour and they checked my sugar again and YAY I passed that part also so I didnt have to stay for the third hour thank goodness. I am so glad I PASSED the test. I was worried I was going to have to be on a diet the rest of the pregnancy. Anways. I go back to see this doctor in 2 weeks.

Well as usual we spent another Alabama Football game over at Jason and Michelles house. That is where we spend EVERY Saturday during football season. I am sure Michelle is so glad that football season is over so we won't be over there all the time. Anyways, I am so glad that Alabama won. It was a great game...a little boring at time but overall a great game and even better that we WON. I can't wait till next season. Let's just hope we stay good.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Happy New Year to everyone. Well....Richie and I had a strange end to 2009. I got a call on my way home from work from Richie that he was going to have to go to the hospital and that he had called 911...Luckily I was was about 1 minute from home so it didn't take me long to see what was going on. When I got home the ambulance and fire truck were all here and Richie was on a stretcher. I was scared to death. I thought he was going to make me go into early labor. Well, Richie called 911 because he thought he was having a heart attack. He had chest tightness, shortness of breath and he thought he was going to pass out. By the time the ambulance got her he was throwing up. The hooked him up to something to make sure he was not having a heart attack and it looked like he wasnt but they thought he should go on to the ER. So we got in the ambulance and off to St. Vincents we go. We were there ALL afternoon. Turns out everything with his heart was good. The doctor just suspected that he had a panic attack so he got a shot of
Adovan and it seemed to make him feel much better. This little episode scared us both half to death and I hope it never happens again. This all happened on New years Eve so we really didn't do all that much the rest of the night. We just hung out over at Jason and Michelles and watched Dick Clark count down the new year. And oh by the way he did skip a number when he was counting down...haha...poor thing. Besides this little scare 2009 has been a good year. I can't wait to see what 2010 brings. Next on the agenda....get ready for the arrival of Rylee Kay!!!!
