Richie's BABY!

This is Richie's pride and joy. Richie loves this lawn mower. He treats this thing like it is his child.....I mean I dont think yall understand how much this man loves his lawn mower. He will cut the grass like every 24 hours or less if I would let him. One week this summer I swear I think he cut the grass like 10 or 12 times in one week. Can we say obsessed a little....

Long lost BUDDIES

Meet Bear, this is Sam's roaming buddy. Before we fenced in the backyard. Sam and Bear would go roaming all over the neighborhood. They were best of friends. After we got the fence we kept Sam fenced up during the day because we did not want him to get ran over. It was very hard at the beginning because Bear would come to the house every morning like clock work to get Sam to go roaming. Sam would go crazy wanting out. Well now things are better and Bear still comes to visit. Tonight I let Bear in the fence with the other dogs and you would have thought they had not seen each other in years. They were kissing and playing like long lost buddies....

DOGS...DOGS...DOGS...

WELL I HAVE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT DOGS COULD BE MORE EXPENSIVE TO RAISE THAN KIDS. OK....SO YESTERDAY I SENT RICHIE TO THE VET WITH AUDREY (THE IRISH SETTER) BECAUSE SHE HAS REALLY BAD ALLERGIES AND WAS GOING CRAZY SCRATCHING AND BITTING HERSELF NON STOP. I JUST FIGURED THAT SHE WOULD GET HER USUAL ALLERGY SHOT THAT SHE USUALLY GETS. WELL, OF COURSE NOT. IT COULDNT BE THAT EASY. COME TO FIND OUT AUDREY IS HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO FLEAS AND SHE HAD FLEAS. A LITTLE FYI....FRONTLINE IS NO GOOD ANY MORE. WE HAVE BEEN PUTTING IT ON AUDREY AND IT DOES NOT KILL THE FLEAS. SO THE FLEAS WERE ONE OF THE REASONS WHY SHE WAS ITCHING SO BAD. THE VET GAVE US SOME NEW FLEA MEDICINE TO TRY. IT IS CALLED COMFORTIS...IT IS A PILL THAT THEY TAKE ONCE A MONTH. SO FAR IT IS A MIRACLE DRUG. WELL THE VET SAID THAT IF WE DID NOT TREAT ALL THE DOGS THEN WE WOULD NEVER BREAK THE CYCLE OF THE FLEAS AND IF ONE DOG HAD FLEAS THEN THEY ALL HAD FLEAS...HOW GREAT IS THAT. OH AND WE DONT JUST HAVE ONE DOG WITH HAVE 5 DOGS....SO RICHIE COMES HOME WITH AUDREY AND I SAID SO WHAT IS THE VERDICT......HE SAID OH IT WAS ONLY 300 DOLLARS...I COULD HAVE PASSED OUT....SO THIS IS HOW I CAME TO THE CONCULSION THAT IT COULD QUIT POSSIBLY BE MORE EXPENSIVE TO RAISE DOGS THAN KIDS.....I MEAN IT IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WITH THESE DOGS.....

RIP BINGO 1991-2008

In memory of my beloved BINGO.

Bingo passed away today at the age of 17. He was our family pet since I was 7 years old. It is strange to think that when I go home he will no longer be there greeting me as I walk in the door as he always did. Bingo always loved my dad the best. They were best buds. Bingo would sometimes not even let you get near my dad if he was sitting in his lap. The last few months he has really been stuggling. He had gotten to where he would not eat and could hardly walk around. The past three days he had not eaten or drank anything at all. Mom and dad deceided that it would be best to put him to sleep so that he would not suffer any more. So my mom, god bless her, took him to the vet this morning and let him check him out and he assured her that it was for the best if we did this. We are really going to miss him. Home will not be the same without him.....WE LOVE YOU BINGO!
